Each letter page has that letter’s tracing, handwriting and coloring page in one small PDF, plus the letter sound, the letter name (US and UK) and words to practice.
Lowercase-and-capital handwriting practice with a word to write at the bottom of each page, connecting letter formation to a real word.
What’s inside
- 26 pages, "Handwriting practice — Aa" through "Zz".
- Each page repeats the letter pair (Aa Aa Aa Aa) on guide lines.
- A final line to write a keyword: ant, bat, cat…
How to use it
- Model the letter slowly, saying the sound as you write.
- Your child traces or copies the letter pairs along the lines.
- Sound out the keyword together, then write it.
- Follow your child's current sound, not A to Z, if you're teaching letters for the first time.
Watch out for
- Letters that start at the top and go down (b, d, h, k, l) are easiest; letters with curves first (a, c, d, g) need more modeling.
- Watch the starting point of each letter — a letter formed from the bottom up is hard to join later.
- Reversals of b and d in writing are common until age 7; point them out gently.
