How to teach the letter Z in 5 minutes
- Say the sound first. Not the name “Z” — the sound /z/, as in zip. Play it above and copy it together three times.
- Trace it on the table. Use your finger to trace the capital Z and the lowercase z, saying the sound each time.
- Trace it on paper. Do page 1 of the worksheet pack, then write a row of Zz on page 2.
- Find Z around you. Books, food labels, road signs — aim for 3 spots, then color the page 3 picture as a reward.
