How to use it
- Print single-sided, fold each card along the middle line, then cut along the outer border — a glue stick inside the fold makes them sturdy.
- Show the letter side and ask for the sound. Your child flips the card to check with the picture.
- Play "grab it": lay out five cards, say a sound, and your child grabs the matching letter.
- Keep vowels (a, e, i, o, u) in their own pile for extra practice — they're the letters CVC words hinge on.
Who it’s for
Ages 3–6, during Stages 1–2 while single letter sounds are being learned. Pictures help pre-readers who can't yet check a word.
