Digraphs Worksheet — CH (Free PDF)
20 ch words — read each word out loud, then write it on the line.
A page of ch words, from chip at the start of a word to reach and punch at the end.
What’s inside
- An instructions page: the first red chunk is the digraph — say it as one sound, then blend.
- One practice page: ch-ip, ch-at, ch-in, ch-op, r-each, p-each, c-oach, p-unch and more, with the tip "ch is a quick puff of air — contrast it with the long hiss of sh".
Every word in this PDF (20)
Handy for checking the list fits your child before printing, or for making your own games.
chip, reach, chat, peach, chin, coach, chop, punch, much, bunch, such, munch, lunch, march, bench, porch, beach, catch, teach, watch
How to use it
- Say /ch/ as one short sound — not "c" then "h".

- Circle every ch in the finished words.
- Reach, peach and coach also have vowel teams; skip them if ea and oa aren't taught yet.
