How to use it

  1. Pin it up at the start of Stage 4 and add a star next to each digraph as it's taught.
  2. Before reading a new word, ask: "Can you see a digraph?" and find it on the chart.
  3. Say the example words together, stretching the digraph sound.
  4. Leave ph and wh for later — they're less common and come after the core digraphs.

Who it’s for

Ages 5–6, Stage 4. ch, sh, th and ng are core sounds; ph and wh come after.
